It may be the world cup, but the Bangor to Brighton ride takes priority for Drum CEO.

There is no getting away from England’s current success and how it is taking the country by storm. Even Wimbledon has been struggling to keep the crowds attention during matches with reports of spectators watching the game on their mobile phones:

The Guardian tells your a little more about the activities over at Wimbledon.

Whilst fans have also been seen leaving Wimbledon to view the England games in local pubs:

Or read over at The Telegraph about how more fans seem to be leaving Wimbledon, than entering, to watch England on the big screen in local pubs.

But that hasn’t stopped Drum’s contribution to the local community amongst all this hype. Even the sweepstake and the grand jackpot isn’t getting in the way. John, Drum CEO and Founder, has stuck to his commitments of riding BANGOR TO BRIGHTON, PIER TO PIER in aid of the Starr Trust.

The gruelling event spans over four days, the ride leaves Bangor in North Wales, travelling through Snowdonia to Shrewsbury, Stratford upon Avon, High Wycombe over Leith and Box Hills then back to Brighton’s West Pier. An amazing and challenging Bike Ride raising money for the Starr Trust.

You view the route here on a per day basis.

What’s more impressive, John retains England in the sweepstake and will be relying solely on updates from the office boardroom. John will be delaying his gratification of winning the office sweepstake. But will be sure to remind us of his success when we receive debrief of his journey through the UK. Because we all know… Its coming home!
